Discovering The Way To Self Realization

During their lifetime, every individual experiences many emotional phases, typically becoming engrossed in a particular state of mind. A sad feeling can bring on an influx of negative and depressing thoughts. The journey of self realization can help one find relief from such turmoil and achieve happiness and inner peace without disrupting their worldly responsibilities.

Beyond common activities of working, cooking and minding a household, one must consider the actual purpose of a human life. The point is to find a pure internal happiness through love, truth, peach, freedom and beauty. Perhaps the first step is to understand the value of one's very existence and that emotional control is an essential part of the journey.

When a person is feeling dissatisfied with themselves, it is only human nature to want to find a way to be happy. It is easier to replace sad emotions with more positive ones when an individual sees each day as a unique gift. The thing which mush be accepted is that the happiness will eventually again become sadness which will roll over into delight once more in a never ending cycle of emotional switches.

Emotions involve a constant fluctuation of hormones which tend to cause unconscious mood swings and behavioral changes. Some may opt to repress such natural reactions by repressing them though that may result in one feeling stressed, depressed or experiencing extreme outburst such as sadness, anger, confusion or laughter. Management is more effective when one learns to understand why those feelings occur at all.

Many people want to find permanent acceptance of themselves as a spiritual being because only upon achieving that can one face all obstacles calmly and objectively. There are many questions a person may contemplate regarding issues such as their place in the vastness of the universe, the purpose of life, and the origins of it all. The first step on the path to enlightenment is to clear the mind of unknowns and to simply accept what is.

A person must understand that many things are designed only to be left alone to the universe and not to be comprehended by the limited human intellectual capabilities. The five senses man is given are used just to process the input of tangible factors, things in which one might become materialistically involved. The only way to have pure knowledge and freedom is to not worry about what once was, or what may one day be, but to be concerned with just the here and now.

Another important factor is understanding that balance comes from opposition. A person can never really know happiness unless they also experience deep sadness, and good can not exist without something bad to make it noticeable. Looking at opposites as equal parts of a whole can help one embrace each experience as a necessary part of life without giving in to emotional extremes.

Inner peach can be achieved by taking a number of different paths. Some may choose worship, while others might opt for meditation or changing, all of which are designed to train one to focus their mind and go inside themselves. This allows a person to concentrate on the root of an emotion, thereby controlling it and becoming knowledgeable.
